Rudy can't wait for Shmu to grow up a bit in order to be old enough to really play. Ru's going to be great at that. He's so creative and is a kid at heart, himself. Shmu's lucky to have such a fun dad.
For now, Ru's having to hold himself back. These are the fun kinds of things I see when Ru plays with Shmu...
It starts out like this.
Then animal friends come.
Then Mr. Binks finishes it off!
Kyle stayed like this for a half an hour, quiet as can be, while we got ready for church. Don't worry, we kept a close eye on him.
Then, for entertainment, Ru found a shoe box and threaded an extension cord through a hole in the box, to make a leash of sorts. Shmu was pulled all around the house looking like this...
Unbelievable! I shouldn't be surprised. And I'm sure you're quite selective about what you share with the family!

The picture with the 4 stuffed friends reminded me of a couple of stories in which the toys are "alive" and converse about their playmates. Maybe you can write a book in which a baby, who can't yet talk to his parents, talks to himself about who he is with and what he is doing. Kyle looks totally full of a great story there!
And then there's the song, "Ten in the Bed." You're halfway there!

Oh so funny! Reminds me of when Rudy and his brothers used to pull our guinea pig "Speedy Gonzolaz' all around the house on their red plastic tobaggon sled. Little Shmu, this is just the beginning of the 'ride of your life'-I hope you enjoy every moment of it :-) XOXO GG
