Yesterday we spent a beautiful day at a park with extended family we had not seen in quite awhile. Unfortunately, my parents are still out of town, so Michelle and I (and family) went to represent. Also representing my maternal grandfather's side was my aunt (who is down in the area) and my cousin Mark, his wife, and their boys. We had a lot of fun reconnecting/getting to know each other. There were 3 generations present and the youngest generation of kids kept us entertained (and busy!). One of the highlights for Rudy, myself, and my sister, was hearing stories about my Grammie (who passed away when I was almost 4 and Michelle hadn't been born yet). There's a lot of love for that woman, and I hear she was pretty remarkable!
Here are some of our favorite pictures of the day:
Lisa, Luke, Gavin, and Me
Cousin Eric (my mom's 2nd cousin) was doing some tricks on his skateboard.
Then Kyle wanted to do those tricks, too...
This crazy tree quickly became a favorite.
Chase, Kyle, Gavin, and Richter
The family (as captured by Kyle) minus a few people we were still trying to corral (my husband being one of them!).
Auntie love. I thank God a million times over for sending me this sister!

Silly Kyle
Picture time!! (Though we have several of this shot, this one says it like it is. Kyle noticing everything around him and Gavin just smiling away. :)
