I'm embarrassed to admit that it's taken me a month to post this and I'm just too tired to include great video footage. It's just too much work! Ha! And this Shmu hasn't even arrived yet! Besides still feeling mildly ill throughout the day, I just can't seem to find my energy yet. We have a healthy Shmu though, so I'll not complain!!
Well, Kyle was doing so well on his tricycle that when we found this new bike at a garage sale we thought we'd grab a great deal! This bike sells new for over $100 and we picked it up for $10. It is the perfect size and Kyle is a natural. On his first ride out, he was already practicing his skids and making long marks in the dirt! Ru adjusted the training wheels so that they aren't flat on the ground, but that Kyle has to work just a little bit to steady himself. This way he'll get the hang of how to balance and when we take the wheels off the transition will be easier. That's the idea anyway. He's doing super well and requests to ride his bike all the time!
We are having so much fun riding WITH Kyle. There's no way we can walk behind him, so either Ru skates or rides to keep up with this kid who loves going fast!! Family bike rides ... can't believe we're already there.

They grow up so fast! Soon he will be a big brother and that will grow him up even more. What a precious little man you have. Maybe one day we'll be able to meet each others children.
