Kyle's 6th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Kyle! He celebrated his 6th birthday last week doing exactly what he wanted to do all day. :) I feel like every year I'll be amazed that "my baby" is ___ years old! But truly, six is just about ten, so we are celebrating and savoring each moment.

Kyle biggest wish was to get a blue-bellied Southwest (it's the newest paint job for Southwest) and they finally came out with a model plane in the new style. He was so overjoyed. I didn't get the picture of his arms up in the air while screaming, "YES!!!!" But he was very, very happy, which made his parents so pleased.

He forgot about all his other presents and started flying his plane around the house.

 Before Daddy left for work, we went out for donuts.

 Later in the morning, we took to the rails.

 When the conductor learned it was his birthday, she let him push the buttons to open the door. On the way back, the conductor let Kyle make the announcements! :) :)

We walked through a little bit of Old Town Orange while waiting for Daddy to join us at the Ruby's Diner that is just off the tracks at the Orange station.

 How fun to see Daddy in the middle of the day!

 1, 2, 3, ... Ruby's!!! Kyle's favorite restaurant. :)

 Kyle got a special birthday sundae that was "too sweet!"

 Later in the evening, we invited all of Kyle's friends and their families from the cul-de-sac to help us celebrate Kyle with some cookie bars and ice-cream.

This was the "Best Birthday Ever!!" according to Kyle.

 I love watching Kyle here, but also love the expressions on our friends' faces. :)

The kids had so much fun staying up late and having so many people over.
