Rudy and I got to sneak out last night thanks to my parents who asked if they could come and babysit and then kindly shared a generous gift card to California Pizza Kitchen. Our dinner was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed a drink, dinner, and dessert before heading over to the movie theater to see American Sniper.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by our little slice of the Internet. I began writing this blog over 9 years ago to connect with family and friends should they want to check-in on us. It then turned in to a journal of sorts, highlighting what I thought we'd want to remember. I've since tried to scale back and not reveal every single thought, emotion, or step we take! Not so hard anymore ... as now, with two boys and working full-time, I've almost forgotten I have a blog!
Oh how fun! A husband/wife get away is a must to keep sanity and the home fires burning!
