It's hard to believe we already have an 8 year old in the house. We enjoyed celebrating Kyle and his day at home with some backyard water fun. It was awesome to be able to host this at home. We had quite a few people over and it didn't ever feel crowded. No bumping elbows. So nice!

Presents time! The following pics are redundant, but I just love Kyle's genuine delight! :)
Then, our San Diego friends came over and we all went to the Pirates Dinner Show, just like last year! Thanks to Tiff for encouraging us to go again, Kyle had an absolute blast! His name was called out among other birthdays in the room and we all sang to him! ;)
Our cheering squad was made up of Collin, Tiff, and her boys plus our family and Auntie Michelle.
This year we cheered for the red pirate. Arrghhh!!

Happy Birthday, Kyle! It was so good to see you and catch up. Loved meeting all the Martin boys. I hope your time in SD was fun. Next year come again and we'll be in the house!
